Tasks / Scope of work

• Supervision of welding activities during manufacturing of 80 transition pieces.
• Issue of welding procedure specification (WPS).
• Leader QA-Team.
• Internal Inspections.
• Approval with clients and certifiers (DNV / GL).
• Project documentation.
• Safety walkabout with BG and client, initiation sanctions.
• Assembly and welding of prima­ry and secondary steel parts (console for platform, stopper sheet etc.).
• After welding the transition pieces (by EEW), assembly and welding of packages in- and outside the transition pieces (internal and external platforms, ladders, boat landing etc.).
• After coating the transition pieces and packages, final assembly of the packages in- and outside the transition pieces.
• Handing over the built-up transition pieces to vendor.
